One of the best ways to make your blog content more dynamic is to include relevant videos in your posts. Obviously the cost and time of producing good video content can be prohibitive for many of us, but that should not deter you from consistently using video.
Remember bloggers: YouTube is your friend…quite possibly one of your best friends; at the very least, it’s the kind of friend you can call from a bar at 1:30 to come pick you up when you’ve had a few too many. Incidentally, that is also a great (or awful, depending on your perspective) time to shoot something for YouTube.
But I digress.
So once you’ve found a video on YouTube that you like, and that you want to include in a blog post, how do you embed it? Luckily for us all, YouTube makes this ridiculously easy, and the tutorial below shows you the simple step-by-step process for how to do it.
I also provide a quick description of the difference between WordPress’ visual and HTML editors, which is germane to the embedding discussion.
