How-To-Blog.TV Releases Beginners Series for Bloggers

by Derick Schaefer on February 18, 2010

For those who follow How-To-Blog.TV, you have probably asked where’s the “How To” in the smorgasbord of posts that we release weekly.  It is a great question!

Hannah, Matt, Jerod, and I have actually put a lot of thought into this.  Thus, we are pleased to announce the series section of our website that now features our Beginner’s Series Primer.

There is a laundry list of things you have to do when you start a blog.  Of course, over time, we’ll walk you through each one of them.  For now, we’ll start with one of the most important tasks, which is seeding the blog with content and building credibility with search engines.

Having done this before, we made the decision to design our beginners series in an outline, post the content individually, and then tie it together with a page that features the series.   This approach has allowed us to publish content to the search engines on a day-by-day basis and then present it to end users in an organized fashion.

The irony is that we have not “officially” launched How-To-Blog.TV.  We wanted to publish our beginners series before we did that.  We also wanted to release WP-MalWatch and join in on the launch of Scribe.  Now that all of this is behind us, you can look forward to our official launch.  We will be providing launch details during the next week.  If you haven’t done so yet, sign up for our RSS feed as we will be doing giveaways and other fun things during launch week.

Thanks for hanging in there and review our beginners series as we have several intermediate series on the way that will cover blog monetization, advanced social media, and more.
